Banana-Coffee Soy Smoothie

A new smoothie recipe to use up all those frozen bananas in your freezer that became too mushy to eat.
  • 2 small frozen bananas
  • 1 and 1/2 cups plain or vanilla soymilk
  • 1 (8oz.) container low-fat plain yogurt
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon instant coffee
  • dash nutmeg
Directions:
  • Combine frozen bananas, milk, yogurt, cinnamon, and nutmeg in a blender container
  • Cover and blend till smooth
  • To serve, pour into glasses
  • Garnish with fresh banana slices and mint
Using the sweeter vanilla soymilk makes this recipe good enough for a dessert!
Makes: 2 servings
